Sustainable Refurbishment
At last some proper building news!
We are currently involved in the refurbishment of a three bed semi. Owned and managed by Parity Projects one of the Nu-School pioneers in sustainable refurbs.
It is an exciting project to be involved with, Insulating the building internally using sustainable building materials noteably Isonat Hemp/Cotton Insulation ,
Thermafleece Insulation , Warmcell The idea is to see what works best and to this end the house will be bristling with sensors
Our initial involvement is preperation for the insulating of two rooms. I shall produce a photographic How-To section, so watch this space.

The Swedes have always been one step ahead though. You only have to look at their wellfair, transport and education systems.
We have a lot to learn from our Scando neighbours.
