At what cost for the Earth?
Large scale wind farms are very efficient and at the end of the day we are safe guarding the environment, not destroying it. Without renewable energy green house gases will increase as will global warming.A small concrete footprint, that if placed correctly would be invisible, come the day they are no longer needed.
We need renewable energy, not investment in another finite fuel source ie. Nuclear. We have a wonderful opportunity to rid ourselves of the reliance on another country for our energy needs, therefore protecting against the need to enter into other futile wars. What ever happened to “joined up thinking”?

Right its time to plug the gaps in your doors and stop those draughts.
Step away from the wind turbines and solar heating display and get yourself to the draught excluder department. Not very sexy but it will cost less and do more.
You can buy rubber seals (p strip 3-5mm and e strip 1.5-3mm) you’ll probably need the smaller, but have some of the larger to hand for those warped doors. Fitting is easy , wipe the surface clean, peel off and stick on, job done. Now your door doesn’t shut , DOH!

Its not a big deal the strike plate is out of alignment, so be prepared. To rectify this you will need a box of matches, wood chisel, drill and drill bits oh and a screwdriver or two.
Remove the plates move them out 1-2mm, fill the old screw holes with the matches and refit lock. Find the door still doesn’t fit and repeat until you get it right. Don’t forget your bolts and rack bolts, remove plates, drill bigger hole, fill screw holes and refit plate, sorted.
